I really like this DVR (I even purchased another one for my cousin house as well), one of the best option comparing price and quality (I did my research). Also a very important part, the app doesn't suck.... I've been trying to find a decent app that can handle the cameras correctly (no crashing, lagging, or slow in general) so far I've used Annke and Zosi apps with their own DVR systems (both sold on Amazon as well) but had a really bad experience with both of them, (one DVR restared everytime I access the system via iPhone app... crazy) that's why I wanted a DVR that use neither one of them, and I had success using the EseeCloud app without a problem so far. Pros -No need to open ports on your router if your not familiar with it, the app will expose the DVR to the internet. -Plug and play installation for the cameras (manual provides good asistance) and setup it's easy using the provided QR Code and instructions. -The tools included really help out to get the best angle for the cameras, there's and L shape al wrench that can fit in tiny corners so you can secure the camera in the best position. -1 power supply to give power to all the cameras (other brands have multiple ones) Cons -Same with all brands the cables are all standard length, I would prefer for cables to have different lengths so you can plan your setup and have more cable available to cameras further away from the system (not really a deal breaker) -Does not have RTSP feed (as far as I know) but it's also the same with other brands as well. This would be a super plus

DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What seemed to be steal of a deal is with this camera system. initially when setting up, you have to purchase additional items for video services. Took me long time to write this review because i thought i would give it time and eventually it will work and everything will be fine. unfortunately that never happened. 5 months after installing the cameras and it working just fine, the cameras just going in and out of video. made the first contact with customer service, they told me that the camera reciever is old so they will send me a new. after the new one was installed, the cameras stopped working. the cameras has completely stopped working prior making the call to customer service for. made another contact to customer service to fix the issue, they told me that they can send power cables for the camera and we can see if that fixes the issue. 3 days later after speaking with them for cable replacement, got an email confirming the cables has been sent to the address, that was 10/18/21. they called my wife and once my wife answered the phone, she was immediately got hanged up on. she did return the call and got "this phone has been disconnected and no longer in service" notification. we have tried several times to make contact and got the same result. even tried with multiple different phone numbers to see if they can answer but still the same result. JUST AN UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE ALL AROUND.

I ABSOLUTELY AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THIS SYSTEM AND WEN AT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO HELPED ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS I HAD. THE CAMERAS ARE VERY CLEAR AND RECORD PERFECTLY. I RESEARCHED MANY DIFFERENT SYSTEMS AND THIS ONE WAS THE BEST ONE. AFTER INSTALLING THE SYSTEM, IT IS CONFIRMED THIS IS THE BEST! I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE. RESIDENTIAL OR COMMERCIAL.

We set up the 8 camera set and so far it's working well day and night. Day time is very clear and sharp even on our older monitor. Nite vision is also way better than expected, and useful out to around 125 yards. Adding some solar security lites down field about 80-yards away from the camera really makes the nite vision useful as hell. NOW, for the bad news. The plugs on the wires they provide to connect to the camera and also to the DVR are crap. The cameras can be shut off easily if someone moves the DVR, or wind shakes a camera. We have had several cameras turn off only to get them back on by disconnecting and reconnecting the plug a few times. THE REAL ISSUE now is, we cannot change the wires because they are installed behind the walls throughout the new house construction which is now just finished. YES, all cameras were tested before the interior house was finished, but no one thought to jiggle wire ends around. Suggestions: 1. Cameras and DVR are definitely worth the price. 2. DO NOT use the wires that come with it. 3. Buy VERY upgraded wires .

It is really great product. This was my 3rd Ohwoai Security Camera system and i love it.

good clarity, lousy wifi can't figure out how to connect

Good overall camera, clear picture quality and very easy to setup. Wish it came with a hard drive that stores files but we got that separately. Overall good camera
