But when a fierce storm separates Shade from his colony, he soon faces the most incredible journey of his young life--and that journey is just the beginning of an epic trilogy of adventure, wonder, and suspense. Ideal for fans of Tolkien and fantasy, this boxed set includes paperback editions of Silverwing , Sunwing , and Firewing . Review: hoping for a fourth - i read these three books in half the time i read harry potter 1. i reckon the three best books i've read in all this year. crossing my fingers for a fourth cause there's a terrible dangly end on the third that could turn out badly, but i don't want to spoil the fun for future readers ;-) Review: Great escapism for kids. - Exiting page turner well written.

A story that has stuck with me for over 20 years
I read this series—actually, I DEVOURED this series—when I was a kid. I'm so happy to have my own copy of the trilogy to read to my kids!

If you enjoy animal tales with a spiritual edge... you’ll like it. Quick adventure.
I was originally interested in this series due to the SilverWing tv show- my fiancé had said that the books deviated significantly, and I was curious. I now see why they had to change it, haha! I won’t spoil it, but I enjoyed it. It’s a quick read, but an interesting ride. I didn’t expect that -that- was where it was going to go, but it’s... well, it’s a ride is the best way I can say it without spoilers. If you enjoy warriors or other animal tales with a spiritual edge with plenty of action, it’ll keep you entertained.
