An excellent product
This stuff is great for finding high spots between fitted parts -- which of course is what it's made for. I found its results clearer than when fitting with Prussian blue. I used it to fit an Ed Brown pistol barrel to a 1911 pistol. The barrels are machined slightly oversize to accomodate fitting into 1911s from different manufacturers, so finding the high spots and filing them was part of the installation. They recommended using a black marker, assembling, and looking for removed marker. I couldn't get the fit until I used Hi-Spot Blue, which made finding the high spots easy. My only complaint is that for a tinkerer like me, this is a two-lifetime's supply. (Since it is non-drying, it will probably be fine at the estate sale.) I'd like a small container about one quarter as large. Working machinists swear by this stuff, and would probably go through a couple of tubes a year.

Dark and Dense, Very Easy to Read.
Been struggling with Prussian blue for a year, this stuff was instant relief from eye strain trying to find light marks. It costs almost $25 an ounce, but that's for a lifetime supply for me. It's so dark and dense I will try mixing it with the Prussian blue. So far I've tested with alcohol, paint thinner, acetone, and brake cleaner, and they all remove it great on non-porous surfaces. Wear gloves, it is impossible to remove from hands, wood, concrete.

Great stuff
Been around forever because it works. Great stuff to work with and always constant.

Great stuff
Works as it should, its the product to use for hand ffitting any parts I use a q-tip and a tiny amount because you will make a huge mess if you use too much.

Irreplaceable when you need to check interference between parts
This is the de-facto standard for checking interference points or painting a surface to make a scribe mark without actually scratching the material. The kind that comes with a brush might be a superior form if you're clumsy or not thinking like me. The tube WILL ooze several dallops of Dykem when you pierce the tube with the cap, and if you're not wearing gloves and also doing this in front of a fan, it WILL get everywhere. Acetone will clean some of it, but there will still be stains on everything it touches; hands, clothing, shop floor, you name it. Ask me how I know!

Proper product
Did think you could still get this on the market. Well done.

Works, Little goes a long way, water clean up is nice.
Perfect for “spotting” hand scraped machine surfaces. A little goes a long way. Invest in a good rubber roller with ball bearings if possible. The cheep ones fall apart when rolling out the ink. Functionality: Works

Tool and die maker here. I’ve used different brands of high spot blue. This is the best. It instantly goes on nice and covers surface quickly. This does not come off your skin easily. To test this simply apply some blue underneath the handles of your buddies toolbox. Watch with delight as they struggle to wash it off. All kidding aside this is my go to high spot blue

Works really good. Better than Prussian blue. I like how thin it goes on the part.
