Mathez French Cocao Truffles (2 x 500g )

These are incredibly rich with an intense Cocao flavour. Not too sweet, but not bitter either. I prefer these to the Lindt Truffles, which are a little too sickly sweet for me, these are much, much cheaper than the Lindt ones also. I recommend storing these in the fridge though as they melt quite easily in the heat and can be messy to eat. In my opinion they also have a more pleasant mouth feel eaten straight out of the fridge. I usually pick these up when they're around the £11 - £12 mark, which is a bargain tbh. They can shoot up to £16 sometimes.

Great looking tin, truffles are the small home made type, let down a bit by the packing inside two separate foil bags. Great taste though. Good gift as a hefty weight for the price and quality.

I want to make it clear that this 5* rating is for the product and the company which sells it. It is not for Amazon's delivery of it (see below). The truffles are outstanding in texture, flavour, quality, and appearance. Just like being back in France of Belgium! They are well presented and would make an excellent gift. Amazon's delivery of them was appalling and deserves zero stars. The package was thrown over the garden fence into the back garden and was spotted by my wife as it sat there in the rain. The delivery was recorded as "handed to resident".

It tastes good. My family love it very much
