Fun and short game for two players. Easy to learn.
It is a short game to play and it’s very easy to learn. Fun, and a little bit challenging. For a child, I would say ages 8+, but it’s also nice for seniors who don’t want to take an extensive amount of time to learn a new game, or have it go on and on. I would say it takes around a half an hour to play the game.

So much fun!
We have never played the standard patchwork game so I can’t compare but this one is fantastic. It’s easy to learn but still strategic so the replay ability is good. It’s great for those times you need a quick cozy game to play during breaks or before bed. Patchwork is such an awesome game that we now want the different themed ones too!

Super Fun and Easy!
We played this last night after it was delivered and had a blast! Mom, dad, and 12 year old. We played two at a time and did a tournament...mom won most but was ultimately defeated by dad, womp womp womp. 12 year old had fun too and it put his geometry lessons to practical use! While learning the game, they took about 15 minutes but this will easily go to 10 mins or less once we know it better. Can't wait to buy the full version now!

Fast version of one of the best games.
Patchwork is my favorite of my hundred or so games. It is amazing. So, I decided to buy the express version for some friends who like games, but aren't crazy about them. It plays pretty much exactly the same way, only shorter! Apparently it is easy to finish with negative points... which has never happened to me in the normal game.

Learning curve too steep
Read the directions a couple times, tried to visualize with the pieces-finally gave up and returned. Too difficult for this old bird and her husband with cognitive impairment.

Fun little game for two
My husband loves playing games but I get frustrated having to learn complicated rules and playing games that seem never-ending. This little game has been a good fit for us. The rules are straightforward and it doesn’t take long to understand and get set up. Game time is limited by the board going from A to Z. We’ve played several times now and still enjoy the game.
