Not as rigid as glass which is so rigid it cannot distort, glass mirrors would shatter before they distorted, if you want a 100% perfect mirror then glass is the only way, if you want light weight and safety then acrylic is the only way. 5mm acrylic is less likely to distort than 3mm..

This particular listing gives you double sided covering the full rear so you just peel off backing sheet to expose and place into position.   • Does not distort if fixed onto a flat surface, a lot of the ones people say look like a wall of mirrors in a funhouse are more than likely a lesser product High Impact Polystyrene. If you buy from another seller other than Esupplyline please make sure what you receive had a textured grey back to ensure it is Fabback by Plaskolite. The 1163 double sided from 3M is a high quality adhesive too, we haven't scrimped on quality with this product and any others that we supply. The 1163 will bond to most surfaces but not necessarily all surfaces, if the 1163 fails (out of 100's it has not worked for 2 people) then you may need to use a VHB (Very High Bond) tape instead. Regarding any & all cls or return requests regarding a distorted reflection, do not remove protective films or expose double sided on the rear unless you are happy to install it and keep this product, which is either standard acrylic mirror or speciality see thru/two way mirror, both are plaskolite. offer it up into place and decide if you are happy to keep t before removing anything. If you do remove and then return, we do not refund you. If before removing the protective or liner on the double sided you decide you are not happy to keep it, please simply request a return & follow the instructions that we will email you. any distorted reflection is purely down to the surface and the application, for example, tall and thin reflection the mirror is slightly curving out across the width, short and reflection it is curving in across the width etc etc, it only takes a slight curve across or up the height to distort the reflection.
