This manual although expensive, thoroughly describes the exercises, the breathing and posture requirements from beginner through to experienced and I have found it enormously useful as a reference guide and practice aid. I would recommend it if you are following the Stott Pilates method, but if you want a general introduction to pilates look elsewhere.

**Q: is this the newer version from 2022?**
A: My copy is the 14th printing of the 2015 copyright (as is listed in the product details).  I assume it was printed quite recently, but it does not have a 2022 date.  I do not see a 2022 edition listed for sale on Amazon.
