This candle was put in a little outdoor pagoda. It lights it up nicely and the timer functions well. The batteries seem to last for the entire summer. It wasn't supposed to and didn't come with a remote control so that is a 0 star rating ( don't know why they asked you to rate the remote ?? ) but the timer works great. That's why we bought it. Good canle so far. Have used id for 2 years now and is nearing the end of it's third season.

Love the timer . Affordable and look like a burning candle

I just got these today and they are a good size for what I need them for. I haven’t used them yet but when I put the batteries in, I’m they seem to work but can’t tell yet as far as brightness (it isn’t dark yet). It has an auto timer that they stay lit for 6 hours at a time and repeats the next day (at least that’s what the little info sheet it came with says). No remote came with the candles but does require 2 AA batteries. You have to twist the bottom off to put batteries in and it’s also where the switch is to turn it on & off.

I've had this outdoor candle for over a year and just bought another one. The timer function is great...just turn it on and it comes on at the same time every day. Waterproof! It's been on my front steps for over a year with rain, piles of snow, sun and it still works like new. Battery life is long. I just changed the batteries for the first time...the batteries didn't even die yet, the candle was just dim. Love this candle!

I love these candles! When I first opened the package I was disappointed because they looked cheap, but I am so happy that I set them up. They look beautiful lit with a nice warm glow. The flicker of flame is just right which gives a good impression of a real lit candle. One of my favorite things is the timer! You do not need to set it. The timer starts when you flip the little switch inside the bottom of the candle. It will stay on that on/off cycle until you change a battery, or flip the switch to off then back on. I just bought another one of these candles in the smaller size, so the three of them together make a really nice set!

Have had for over a week now and they have worked as advertised, easy to operate and seem durable.

I bought these for a fall lantern, and it worked all of November, coming on at exactly the time I set it to turn on, but it stopped working after one month. I only tried one candle, so I'm going to try the other one in December to see if it lasts longer. I wanted these to be outside, but my porch is not waterproof, so they were rained on quite a bit. I'm not sure if they are not waterproof or if they just give out after one month. I enjoyed it for the one month, but I wish it had lasted longer. Edit: the broken one turned back on when it dried out, but the timer is not working on it now. I'm going to try to work with it to still use it, but I would like for it to work more consistently.
