Easy to use and durable, been using it for a year now and so far I’m satisfied. There’s level to it if you can’t tolerate, but for me since I have high pain tolerance it works out fine. Good value for money.

I ordered this in 2024. It has just stopped working (August 2025) - pushing the button is not flashing the laser in the treatment window. I contacted Ulike and they have sent a new unit to me (I returned the old one). So, yes, this product works well BUT the customer services is AMAZING! I have never ever had this kind of service - well worth taking the chance for an expensive (to most) unit!

I have tried many IPL hair removers, but this one is the less painful or uncomfortable, there is only a sensation of coolness on your skin. This one is more special because it has a technology that can target and remove hairs at more shallow, medium, and deeper levels for comprehensive hair removal. This will only be seen in time. I love that it has the automated mode, so I don’t need to press the button every single time. It actually only has automatic mode so it will flash even it isn’t touching the skin. It has 3 levels, and the strongest is the slowest but still very fast compared to others. In less than 10 minutes I was finished with both legs fully. With a flash speed of up to 90 flashes per minute I will be able to get rid of my unwanted hair much quickly and it won’t even take much of my time away. I can do it even while watching a movie. I highly recommend it, I wish I had 4-5 weeks to try it , because my hair is coarse, dark and thick. For now 2 weeks I can feel that is growing back slower, and possibly it’s thinning out a bit.

UPDATE: I've been using this hair removal ULIKE for 5 consecutive weeks now. The first 4 weeks I did it strictly 3 times a week straight after shaving as per instructions. I'm in week 5 and doing once a week. So while by week 3 I noticed an incredible reduction in hair growth I still find that hair grows and is well noticeable or at least you can definitely see the growing dots on my skin. For some reason my armpits hair hasn't stopped growing. It's slowed down but I definitely need to shave if I'm wearing a sleeveless Tshirt I have been doing research on hair removal for a LONG time and this brand specifically this model kept coming up so I couldn't be more excited to own one of this. I have only aver used razors as I can't bare any pain so I was a bit dubious about this as I didn't want to suffer lol however and with a hand in my heart I can not feel a single thing when using it! the ice technology makes it just feel a bit cold when using it but no pain at all. It is very easy to set up and use (I watched some videos online ad you can use it about 3 times a week so I am do it that until I see some results and I will update my review then). the button you press for easy gliding I think it is badly positioned as every now and then I keep pressing it which if you've got the easy gliding turned on it doesn't make any difference but it is just annoying to keep pressing it. overall I am very happy and excited with it and I am so looking forward to seeing results very soon!! (I only just started using it so will update with results hopefully soon!)

I’ve used this device every other day for over 3 months, on the highest setting, targeting male facial hair (lower cheeks, jaw, neck). There has been no noticeable reduction in hair growth, density, or regrowth rate. I followed the instructions, and gave it a fair and extended trial every other day. The product is marketed as suitable for both women and men, but in my experience it is not effective on coarse male facial hair. If you’re a man hoping for beard reduction, I’d advise looking at professional laser clinics instead. I raised this with Amazon support as the item appears unfit for purpose, even though it was outside the standard return window (30 days is not enough to verify if the device actually works). Be aware that results with IPL on male facial hair are limited at best, and this device didn’t deliver anything at all.

This IPL hair remover feels like a quality product built with good material and good attention to detail. The design inspires confidence in its safety which is important for a device you use on your skin. It comes as a fully featured kit including a soothing cream that helps after using it which is really nice. The hair remover works well and delivers good results when used consistently as explained in the detailed instructions. It takes a few weeks to see significant effects so definitely follow what the guide says. Both my girlfriend and I have been using it, we both have light skin with relatively dark hair and it works for us. However pay attention to the types of skin and hair combination that it is compatible with before you buy it. It is easy to use and painless which makes it convenient for regular at home use. Overall while this is relatively expensive on its own, it's also much cheaper than something done by a professional, and you can easily do it at home. So it is worth it if you want an easy and reliable solution. I definitely recommend it.

As I've only had this machine for a couple of weeks and I've only had chance to use it a few times I can't talk about the permanency of the product. I can talk about ease of use, the quality of the build and the after effects quite comprehensively. I do want to mention first of all. This is a corded machine. The pictures would give the impression it's wireless. But it isn't. The product itself is well presented. Instructions are good and easy to understand and it has all the equipment included to operate it safely. I would warn that I had the glasses on while operating. It's important you use these. I did take them off at first as I didn't think it was working and ended up with some pretty good flash blindness. It faded quickly. But lessons were learned. Operating the machine once it's set up is as simple as a button press. Moving slowly and methodically over the skin to ensure coverage. It takes a bit of time. But it's not uncomfortable. The cooling element is only something I've recently been exposed to and I have to say. It's a game changer. I'm certain that its the reason I have little to no irritation. I remember having one of these products many years ago and it caused nothing but problems with skin rash. Thankfully that is not the case. After use you barely even know you've had it done. The last thing to mention is the value for money. It's currently retailing for £319. Which is about what you'd pay for a more mainstream and leading brand. Having used both, I'd say that there's very little between price and outcome. Although this one looks a bit more stylish than the gun type. One last thing to speak of. Avoid going near tattoos. The dark skin absorbs so much more of the laser and it's genuinely painful. I know that's a basic rule. But you do have to keep well clear. It's painful. Summing up. It's a superbly made machine with style. It's fair in price and it's easy to use. I am awaiting the real results that will only come with time. But they will be added to this review in the future. Get this. It's great.

The presentation and packaging of the IPL Ulike 3 are absolutely impeccable—very sleek and high quality, which made a great first impression. It feels amazing on the skin and left me with no burns or marks of any kind. However, the usage schedule is extremely demanding, especially in the first few weeks. To follow the recommended routine, you need to treat the areas every 2 days for the first 4 weeks, then twice a week for the following 2 weeks. In order to get the most effective results, the device must be used on its maximum power setting. This means longer intervals between flashes, and if you want to treat each area properly (3 times as advised), the treatment time increases significantly. The flash window is quite small, and doing just one leg takes about an hour—this is not ideal if you have a busy lifestyle, kids, and a demanding job like I do. A simple surface area calculation can show how time-consuming this process is. Looking back, I should’ve done more research and chosen a device that requires less frequent sessions. I’m now at the end of week 3 and have started to see minimal results on my legs, but my bikini line hasn’t shown any improvement yet, which is surprising considering I have fair skin and dark hair—supposedly the ideal combination for IPL treatment. I’ll continue using the device for a few more weeks and update this review based on the results. If nothing changes, I may consider returning it.
