eviewing Minoxidil for Women Foam Hair Growth – Ever sense I needed to go through treatment for the big C (if I type it out, the automatic filter blocks my review), my hair has been thinner In one spot, right at my hairline, on the top of my head. The most obvious place, of course. I am several years post treatment, and it has not filled in, in that one spot. While most people would not notice it, I do. Minoxidil is proven to work and has also shown no ill effects is survivors. This is a two-month supply, and it takes a minimum of 90 days of consistent use to see results (regardless of the brand you use). So, for this review, I am focusing on how it looks and smells on my hair since you need to use it twice a day, rather than focusing on results. There’s no need to focus on results anyway since it’s Minoxidil, which we know works. It does not feel greasy or make my hair look greasy or look like I used too much styling gel. Once it dries, you can’t tell you have anything on your scalp. You do need to rub it into your scalp (not your hair) so it doesn’t matter how much hair you have, these two bottles should last for two months if you are using it correctly. There is a faint smell but once it dries, the smell is gone. It’s not an unpleasant smell, but also not floral smelling. It’s easy to use and since once it dries, you can’t tell it’s on my hair, I like it.

The smell is light, but there is a slight scent to it. I will use this 2-month supply and see how things go. If I see any signs of growth, I will order more.

Minoxidil for Women Foam Hair Growth: I have used minoxidil treatments in the past. While nothing is a miracle, I thought this was worth a chance. You receive 2 tall bottles with thin applicator tips and caps to keep the product from getting out when not in use. The instructions say to apply one-half cap of foamy solution twice per day. The two bottles contain enough product for two months, though you may not see results for three months. You are applying this to your scalp, not your hair, but you're going to get some on your hair as you rub it into your scalp. The solution "melts" on warm surfaces, which is not a problem for me since my hands are always cold. Be sure to wash your hands afterward. I noticed a very mild scent that wasn't bothersome. After the first few applications, my hair felt a little greasy near the application site, but that feeling dissipated after continued use. I wash my hair every day with a mild, thickening shampoo to supplement the minoxidil. No complaints so far.

I used for a few days before reviewing. The application is simple. There is no real scent that I noticed. The consistency is like a stying mousse, but it breaks down faster. Apply to scalp twice a day. I do notice a little tingling when I first apply, but otherwise no side effects for me. There is thinning hair on both sides of my family, so being proactive. After having children & an illness, my hair thinned a bit. I started taking Biotin a few years ago, which helped some. As biotin is one of the active ingredients(the other being Minoxidil), hoping for even better results with topical use. As it takes 3-6 month for results, I can only give initial impressions now, but so far so good. Hoping for increased new growth. Not gonna lie, this was an impulse purchase for me. Yes, I have experienced thinning hair and had been contemplating what I could do about it, if anything. I came across this Minoxidil product and it sounded promising. After purchasing, but before receiving it, I decided to do some research so I could immediately begin using it once I did receive it. I’m so glad I did. The information I came across has caused me to rethink using any Minoxidil product. Things I have learned about Minoxidil: * it doesn’t work for everyone. * can take anywhere from 3-6 months to see any regrowth. * the “experts” don’t even know how/why this product works. * many undesirable/scary side effects can occur. * even if it works for you, the results reverse/revert if you quit applying/using Minoxidil. (Do your own research to discover even more) Also, the description states you get 3 months worth of product. On the actual box it states it’s a 2 month supply. Kinda deceptive, don’t you think?! And so you’d have to buy & use this version of Minoxidil at least 2, maybe 3 times, before any results are seen! I don’t know about you, but I don’t have that kind of money to throw away. Remember, too, if it does work, you’ll have to keep buying this over & over & over indefinitely. I’m not a health professional, but I am health conscious and somewhat frugal. You do as you see fit. As for me, I think I’m going to pass on this one.

Considering you're recommended to use this product twice a day, I was very relieved to find out that they were 100% honest on the lack of build-up on your scalp from it. It's not at all waxy, greasy, or anything of the sort, and it dissolves quickly once applied. In fact, they suggest cooling your hands as it turns from foam back into liquid rapidly. Though you can feel some tingling immediately after application, I didn't feel anything negative and have not seen any negative side effects. It's too soon to preach on it's results, but it seems promising at least from it's quality.

It's too soon to tell whether this product will be helpful for my thinning hair, since it takes several months to see a difference if you're going to see one. I have typical hair thinning from aging and since my hair was always on the thin side, I'd like not to lose any more. This product is a foam that's relatively easy to apply, although it does call for some combing and hair parting to get it directly on the scalp as much as possible. I have not had any bad reactions such as burning or rash. All I can say for sure at this point is it doesn't seem to hurt, and I'm hopeful that it will help.
