Can I use this in my " Mr. Kool " low laying water based fog machine?

I believe the Mr Kool is oil based. Froggy Fog makes a formula for low lying machines. I believe it's called Cryo Freeze.

Does this Haze formula set off fire alarms?

Any haze and or fog fluid can set off fire alarms. But if you use it wisely and don't cloud the venue in haze/fog then you should be good. Always ask the venue if haze/fog is permitted.
