Great customer service
I found that the battery wasn't charging and got in touch with the supplier. They responded the same day and sorted it immediately. It turned out that I'd been trying to charge if without having it in the standby mode. I felt a bit foolish, but they were very patient with me. Excellent after sales service. It's working fine now and I'm very pleased with it.

Makes the radio portable, and usable in a power cut
This battery is useful if you want to disconnect the radio from the mains to use elsewhere in the property or outside. It also enables to radio to work during a power cut. It charges automatically when the radio is plugged in again. But it is a quite expensive monopolised product, and with a different design it could have been made possible to use equally good but cheaper and universally available rechargeable batteries.

Defective battery
Battery doesn't hold charge at all - my parents have the same Monty radio as I do and I have tried my battery in their machine (didn't work) and their battery in mine (did work), so I can be sure it's the battery and not the radio at fault. I cannot seem to find any way to arrange a replacement or refund as the only link that Amazon provides under the technical support section for this order takes the user to a company called Mixcder, not VQ. I tried emailing Mixcder about the issue in case they were a third party retailer, however they could not assist me. Any other avenues I try to contact Amazon customer service about this just takes me in circles. Would not recommend buying as if yours doesn't work either then you'll likely also be stuck not being able to exchange it.

Excellent product
This product isn't always in stock, doesn't require additional charging, and the radio can be carried where there isn't a radio. I'm happy with the quality!!! I recommend it.

Great sound , cute
Sound quality, radio good , Bluetooth great. Need to buy rechargeable battery pack separate, doesn’t come with it. By chance I read in fine detail, if I hadn’t would be useless without it.
