I bought this and tried it a few times. It was cool to see the color change and you blow dry this to heat it up to get your hair on the side of hair to lay down flat instead of sticking up. I know this is marketed for East Asian hair type, and I'm not sure if there is a huge difference between East Asian straight hair and South Asian straight hair, but I can say it did not work for me the two times I gave it try.

I have Southeastern Asian Hair and it works like a charm. Very useful for getting those flat sides that you want in your hair. Worth it, it always works and is genuinely easy to use.

Works very well if you have bedhead in the morning

So I purchased this a few days ago and, honestly, I think it would work if it were bigger. It doesn't quite fit well and I have an average-sized head. I suggest you order, size it up to see if it'll do the job for you, but keep in mind, it's petite.

I am Asian with straight, thick, and course hair. This thing does work pretty well. My hair is all over the place in the morning and this seems to be able to tame the sides. It is very easy to use too.

Lasted about almost a year. Eventually it loses its bendability and it broke on me. Worked well for the year I had it.

Easy to make your morning routine

It’s does as it says, faster results on down pressure side and back hair with warm or hot hair dryer for around 5-7minutes depending on the length of your hair and level of stiffness, simply the longer your hair then the easier and faster it will pressure down with warm/hot hair dryer but because it doesn’t cover the entire side hair so it will take a bit of time to apply pressure down on lower half of side and top half of side hair. Overall, personally it’s a decent product except for the price being too overrated, but in the end, it works and somewhat durable because in the end it’s still made from plastic and will probably have its durability losing from the hot heat probably. Last minute edit, it does have a imperfections when I received it and I don’t know why there seems to be a chips spot but it doesn’t make too much fuss as long as the products works and satisfy my needs.

It works but cracked in the back. I have a bit of a wider head and it cracked from me putting it on after wearing for 2 weeks.

It sits comfortable around your ear and stays on even when moving about during morning/night routines. It retains heat for a minute though before it cools down. The only slight inconvenience is that it takes a few minutes to properly heat up all of the parts you want it to affect your hair so it takes trial and error to use. Overall, takes some time but works well.
