I’m extremely disappointed in the quality of these sieves, having had them for just 3 months and in that time the largest of them has been used at most 3 times. Today, when removing it from the dishwasher I was surprised to say the least when the head simply fell off of the handle. They have not been misused, something I know for certain as I’m the only cook in the house, and for a comparison as to how well I look after my utensils, my previous large sieve lasted over 16 years before it sadly needed to be replaced. Upon further inspection it is very apparent that the weld used to attach the handle to the head is very poorly executed, a fact I am in no doubt whatsoever that is responsible for me to now need to purchase another new set - which obviously won’t be these ones. Don’t get me wrong, these things happen, there’s no manufacturing process that has a 0% failure rate, but I’m writing this as, having inspected the rest of the set closely, there are more apparent poor welds. So it seems you take your chances on the quality of the workmanship.
