These grab rails may not be the easiest to fit in a bathroom, since they need to be skilfully drilled into tiles. A job for the expert rather than the enthusiastic D-I-Yer. But once fitted, they are first-rate. They look good, the grip is sure and solid - and they make for a totally reliable safety feature. Highly recommended.

Safe and secure when you have wet hands in the bathroom and need support. I am disabled and use a wheelchair, but able to weight bare. I contacted the manufacturer directly for advice and they confirmed these as being ideal for wet rooms. I subsequently purchased 3 of these handles for installation in my bathroom wet area and they are just perfect. The nicely machined etching is fundamentally necessary to give a good grip when your hands are wet and slippery, I'm so glad that I chose this model and didn't purchase a smooth chrome finish. I should also point out that they are well made, look very solid, have nice concealed fixings and have an attractive appearance.

Quality stainless steel product but no fixings supplied which made it a bit of a trauma to fit. You need 6 screws per unit , size 4.2 x 32 long. You also been wall plugs , 6 x size 8. You will need a size 8 masonry drill bit too. I suspect like me you will be drilling through tiles, just make sure you don’t use the hammer action till you pass through the tiles or you will shatter the tiles. You need to be exact when drilling so use some masking tape and a marker, using the units as a marker. If you don’t be exact wil your drilling the units will not fit and your have really messed it up togeather with your tiles. These units are by no means an easy fix, you have to be exact. If the units had been slotted fixings, allowing for a bit of adjustment I would have given an easy to install mark of 4, if fittings had been supplied, a mark of 5 stars. To sum up, great quality but not easily installed, you have to have good DIY skills and precision marking. Would I buy again.....Yes but now I know how too and how precise you have to be.

I have now fitted three of these in the bathroom (two adjacent to the toilet and one in the shower) for my partially disabled wife. These are a superior product, well made and very strong and much better than the ones provided (and fitted) for free by my local Council. Fitting was straightforward (if you are reasonably competent DIY'er with the correct tools). At this price a bit mean to not include the six screws and rawplugs required for each rail. The textured grip is excellent but will require frequent cleaning with an appropriate disinfectant spray and small brush to remain hygenic.

I bought this to give something to grab onto when going up a 'loft-type' ladder into my garage roof space. Really does the job well. Especially coming back down. The length gives you something to hold on to while going down the first 3 or 4 steps, until you're about half way through the loft opening. A dawdle to install and is really robust. Looks well and gives that bit of safety so much needed. Would recommend.

Absolute first class product. For use in my bathroom, like especially the anti-grip in the centre of the bar.

Just what we needed

Good quality sturdy handles with a nice finish. The knurled centre section is good for a non-slip grip. They are easy to fit and feel secure on the wall. ( I used M5 x 70mm coated screws.) The only negative is the covers that are a poor fit, but a dab of silicone holds them in place.

Habe diesen Haltegriff für meine Schwiegervater gekauft. Der Griff wurde an der Wand neben dem Bett angebracht, damit der ältere Herr besser aus dem Bett kommt, da er nach einem Schlaganfall nicht mehr so beweglich ist wie vorher. Der Griff ist stabil, rutschsicher und lässt sich stabil mit 2x3 Schrauben befestigen. Die Rosette allerdings könnte besser halten, das ist aber eher ein optiches Problem.

Cette barre d'appui semble être particulièrement solide. Elle en est même assez grossière. Il doit y avoir des modèles plus discrets et tout aussi efficaces.

Da una sensazione di affidabilità e sicurezza. Molto stabile e facile da ancorare al muro. Ottimo. Buone le finiture. Particolarmente apprezzata la gotronatura antiscivolo.
