Bought this as I was restoring an old lamp standard and a vintage Ferranti electric clock. I wanted something that looked original but was electrically safe, unlike the old braided rubber insulated cable from goodness knows when. This cable is great. 3 cores, copper conductors and a strong but soft outer braid. I ordered light brown but if ordering again may go for a slightly darker colour as it is closer to the original tone (or is that just dirt?). Overall though the items look original but are now up to modern standards electrically. Very pleased with this cable and would heartily recommend it.

The cable is made from durable woven paracord with PVC inner cores and has the correct CSA, which is great. However, the cable I received was not a 3-core as advertised—it only included live and neutral wires. Thankfully, the appliance I was wiring is double insulated, so it worked out, but I essentially only received 2/3 of what I paid for.

Looks fabulous. Easy to strip and solder. Multicore wire, nice a flexible for wiring. Happy to give this product top marks - and lots of cable for the price. Note: if you are replacing old two core/wire flex obviously this having three cores is bigger. However the cable will run into a 6.5mm hole, particularly if you separate out the cables (and for added size reduction you can obviously remove the outer fabric covering if your lamp only has a small channel for the power cable).
