The "Plus" is an optional wedge that (when added to the base) can give a third angle of adjustment to the attitude of the mouse. CED

Why doesnt the product name include "plus"? is this same as model:910-005178 sku:6080600?

They are identical in every respect. Except that the plus has an additional spacer underneath which gives you a couple percent more rotation and lift for ergonomic purposes.

This is Model # 910-005178, but what's the difference from Model # 910-005177, and 910-005179?

These are the US versions: PART NUMBER MX Ergo PN: 910-005177 MX Ergo Plus PN: 910-005178 Source: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/mx-ergo-wireless-trackball-mouse#specification-tabular This is the non-US version: PART NUMBER MX Ergo PN: 910-005179 Source: https://www.logitech.com/en-roeu/product/mx-ergo-wireless-trackball-mouse#specification-tabular
