These don't really "pop" so much as disintegrate. By the time they make their way up the straw and into your mouth, the vast bulk have already popped on the journey and are nothing more than the flimsy film that once formed the bubble. It feels like plastic cling wrap and gets stuck in my molars. Very unpleasant. There's a slight lychee taste, but not much of one. All things considered, I can't recommend these and won't buy them again. UPDATE: After writing this review, I noticed my straw was too narrow for the pearls, so it was user error! I upped the rating from 2 to 4 stars. I'm still pretty displeased with the flavor, but the texture is fine if you use a big enough straw. FURTHER UPDATE: I'm obviously a total amateur when it comes to this. After ordering a couple of 1/2" stainless steel straws on Amazon, I see now that these are actually very flavorful. It's just that my old straw was causing the liquid to get diluted in the mouthful of tea. You can get a pair of big, half-inch straws for less than $5, and I definitely recommend doing that if you want to experience this product to the fullest extent. I know half an inch feels huge, but it's perfectly fine.

These lychee popping boba are bursting with flavor, literally!! I honestly like these better than the tapioca boba pearls as it is ready to use, filled with flavorful fruit juice, less sugar and carbs than the original, which for me after awhile takes too much work to have to chew after every sip. Be aware that once the container is open, the liquid in there tends to leak if you tip the container and don't keep it flat removing it from the fridge. Hope they upgrade to containers with a better seal as you don't want to waste a drop of the sweet liquid that gives plain iced teas an extra boost of sweetness and flavor.

These Lychee Popping Boba Pearls are amazing! The flavor is on point, sweet, fruity, and refreshing, just like real lychee. They’re so fun to eat, bursting with juice the moment they pop in your mouth. Perfect for boba tea, desserts, or even as a fun topping.

If you’re not planning on using these popping boba very often, or if you’ll only use a small amount at a time then this will be a good purchase for you. They are very delicious and have a thin coating so they have a good pop without leaving behind a thick film. My only issue with them is that the container was just too small! There were so delicious in my homemade boba. I was out of it in about a week. They are very much on the level of the popping boba you get at a tea store.

I am *not* a popping boba fan... But this product changed my mind! The lychee popping boba tasted great, not too sweet but had a perfect lychee flavor. I added it to a juice/tea and it was great. If you like lychee and boba, get this!
