This 4 oz Black Pepper Essential Oil is definitely the real deal - very fresh, very pure, with a wonderful, clean aroma. It was packaged extremely well - in dark amber glass with a shrink-banded strong, tight cap, packed in a strong, thick, corrugated cardboard box with reinforced top and bottom, and a separate, secure area for a quality glass dropper that can be screwed on in place of the cap (I just threw my cap away and screwed the dropper on. The box I recycled). Very impressed with the packaging! I bought a bunch of different essential oils from SVA Organics (amazing prices), so I've been blending the black pepper oil in my diffuser in a few different ways: Pink grapefruit, tangerine, juniper berry and black pepper Orange, lemongrass, black pepper and ylang ylang (my favorite!!) Lemon and black pepper - pure and simple, and so so good!

SVA really has it here...no need to look further. Starts out sticky in the diffuser, as applied appropriately...then vanishes in a single run. I have always believed there to be hints of Christmas time style esque candy cane to be found for my olfactories. This is a great gift for any guy who already has a diffuser or is into essentials. I use this on my hair and scalp. I gave it four stars because I'm waiting to confirm its effectiveness on hair growth and retention. I was not expecting it to smell nice but it actually does. Usually natural products I purchase for my hair do not smell very good and I end up adding an essential oil (lemon or orange).
