Composure Mini will help stop stress related behavior while keeping your pet's personality and energy level. It is safe to use daily, and does not cause addiction, drowsiness or impaired motor skills. This advanced formula contains:C3 (Colostrum Calming Complex) is isolated from colostrums proteins, which have been found to support cognitive functioning and support stress reduction. C3 works synergistically with L-Theanine, which is also in this formula, to promote relaxation and cognition in pets.L-Theanine supports calming and relaxation, reduces irritability and low mood states. This natural occurring amino acid is found in green tea, and is a derivative of glutamic acid, a neurotransmitter in the brain. It can help the body produce Dopamine, GABA and Tryptophan, other calming amino acids, and helps bring certain neurotransmitters into better balance.Thiamine (Vitamin B1) helps manage stress and reduces irritability. She's ok with thunderstorms, (sometimes), but can't stand fireworks. At the onset of a storm or fireworks, I give her about 3 of the Composure Pro and within 20 minutes she's a lot calmer and goes into her crate and falls asleep. I'm really impressed with these chewy treats, they really do work! My Lab is 75 pounds so 3 or 4 tabs is ok for her...their like soft doggie treats! **Q: Are any of the ingredients in this product from China?** A: not that is listed: Product Facts:Active Ingredients Per 1 Chew: Thiamine (Vitamin B1) 134 mgC3™ (Colostrum Calming Complex) 22 mgL-Theanine (Suntheanine® brand) 21 mg Inactive Ingredients: brewers yeast, canola oil, chicken liver flavor, citric acid, glycerin, mixed tocopherols, propionic acid, proprietary blend (maltodextrin, sodium alginate and calcium sulfate), rosemary extract, silicon dioxide, soy lecithin, vegetable oil. **Q: Any published studies on efficacy?** A: No clinical study from me Kris but vet's and other animal lovers advice made me want to try it for my dog. She does not like our daily summer thunderstorms in FL and we tried this and she releaxed so easily and calmly. I will buy again for those NYE fireworks. FYI, I tired the GNC brand of a calming treat from Petsmart since they did not carry Composure and they did not work as well. **Q: The C3, which is colostrum, breast milk.....where does it come from? what animal?** A: package does not list where the colostrum is from. www.vetriscience.com 1.800.882.9993 is listed as a contact number ## Frequently Bought Together - VETRISCIENCE Composure Calming Treats for Small Dogs and Puppies Anxiety, Separation Stress, Thunder and Barking - Yummy Chews Pets Love, 30 Chews - ThunderEase Calming Anti Anxiety Pheromone Collar for Dogs (Small) - Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Supplements Calming Care - Calming Dog Supplements - 30 ct.
