Love love love this little metronome
I am a budding shuffle dancer, and the audible beats make a HUGE difference in my practice time. This metronome was recommended by our instructor. It's sturdy and very versatile with a BPM all the down to 40. :-) Plus you can advance/decrease the bmp in one beat increments; a great feature. You can mute it if you just want the visual display. The bmp is controlled with a wheel on the face that can be moved easily with a finger. I also use it to match the bpm of some songs I am using that don't have bpm data. VERY HELPFUL! It has a nifty stand to stand it up so I can see the beats. You can set the counts timing too. I mostly use and 8 counts. It gives off a ping at the top of the count so I know when to start. It comes with cords and adapters for charging the battery. I use the USB. The battery charges quickly. It's light and small and easy to take in my dance bag and in my backpack when travelling. It was well packaged, arrived on time with no damage. Don't let its low-price fool you, it is a great buy! highly recommend this metronome.

Excellent metronome
This review is for the "Sondery Digital Metronome Rechargeable English Vocal Counting with Timer Function for Piano Guitar Drum and All Instruments" This is a nice, no-nonsense metronome for musical practice. Tempos vary from 40 to 208 beats per minute with 0 to 9 divisions. The counting voice feature was a bit of a distraction for me, but I'm old-fashioned and preferred the tick output. I appreciated the LED blink indicator for silent reinforcement. I have two other metronomes, one is a wind-up, and the other is an electronic which uses a 9-volt battery. The wind-up unit is decidedly syncopated, and the electronic one consumes disposable batteries. This brings up the rechargeable battery in this one which is great, and seems to last a very long time before needing to plug in. Tapping a button allows you to set the tempo without using the dial -- this takes some practice to get used to, but does save some aggravation when setting the tempo. The one thing I noticed about this metronome, is that it has a tendency to speed up when I'm playing the hard parts (oh, wait, scratch that: I'm being told by a voice in my ear that's because I need to slow down until I learn the piece). Overall, this is a great metronome and is a good value at about $22.

Excellent Metronome!
This is a great metronome. I am a musician and a teacher. I use it for my practice and my lessons with my students. Great features and functions but still simple. I have an iPhone and an iPad but using their metronomes was a hassle because I needed other programs running. So this stand alone metronome was the one. Internal battery is long lasting. You charge it via USB-C. I also like the sound because the sound of my previous metronome was so high pitched. Many rhythm subdivisions, from 0-9 beats, and a voice counting utility. Good volume on it too!

Practical choice for the price
Device is as described. Button functions are somewhat counter-intuitive. Sound volume not overwhelming, but consistent with small size.

Great metronome for violin practice!
My childโs violin teacher recommended this metronome, and we are very happy with it. We had tried other metronomes before, but they were not very durable and stopped working easily. This one is much better quality, easy to use, and works very well for daily violin practice. The sound is clear and it helps my child keep a steady rhythm. Iโm glad we chose this one and would definitely recommend it to other music students.

With the money.
I don't write a lot of reviews, but this re-chargeable little metronome is great. Clear sound, intuitive, easy to use. Thumbwheel volume control works well and optional voice counting is a nice addition. Headphone jack is nice too. Appears to have a 2 yr warranty. Easy to throw in my bag and take with me. Stand keeps its stable. Lots of value for the money.

Superb!
Works beautifully and accurately. There are a bunch of settings to customize it for your own playing habits, but it's not complicated to set up initially - it works right out of the box. If you have preferences, you can choose to set them up later on once you start using it. There are a bunch of volume settings, and a bunch of other beat settings that you can adjust which have been helpful. I only realized later on that this is perfect to keep in my case because it's the best of both - it can stand with the protruding piece, but it's also portable because it folds flat and is lightweight! No comment on durability, but I've been enjoying this for a little while. Recommended 100%!

Everyone musician needs onez
Works great. Every serious musician and student needs one. I like the voice counting option as well. It drills the different time signatures into your mind.

Spectacular metronome with tactile physical controls and very user friendly.
This pocket size metronome by Sondery is well worth the asking price. With physical controls and a clear audible voice that counts the beats in the measure it is a perfect companion to any musicianโs arsenal. The voice annunciation of the measures is optional and can be toggled on or off with a quick press of the side button. No touch screens to frustrate you; just a perfect little device that is both practical and easy to use. There are separate controls for number of beats in a measure and time signatures. There is even a function for just a basic pulse with no counting of time. When count is used the led on the front of the metronome will flash red on beat one and will flash green for the rest of the measure. There is a physical adjustable dial for tempo, a physical dial for volume, and the side button will also change between three different click sounds as well as the voice feedback. The only drawback is the yellow backlight; it is a little dim. The controls are all physical buttons and tactile making this unit user friendly and accessible to a blind musician as well as anyone else. It charges via USB C and the charging led will pulse green while charging and will maintain a steady green light once charging is complete. Overall a genuinely nice unit and I am pleased with it.

Has advantages over some similar priced metronomes
I bought another style of metronome of a similar price a few months back, and although the other one worked OK, there were a few things I didn't like, so I was looking for another metronome that would address those issues. Functionally, this Sondery metronome ticks all the boxes for me. It has all the features you would expect i.e. selectable tempo, rhythm and beats etc. and it also addresses ALL of the issues that I have with my other metronome. Here are the things I was looking for in addition to the basic features. + Good on/off button + Dedicated stop/start button + Rechargeable battery with USB-C connection Let's start with the on/off button:- My other metronome had a flimsy switch, which just felt poor. The Sondery metronome has a button that you hold down for 2-3 seconds to switch on/off. Separate stop/start button:- On my other metronome you had to press the tempo rotary dial to stop/start. The problem was in doing that it was tricky not to accidentally change the tempo. The Sondery metronome has a dedicated stop/start button. Rechargeable battery:- My other metronome required either AAA batteries (which it ate through very quickly) or could be powered via USB micro (although only if the batteries were removed). The Sondery metronome has a rechargeable battery with a USB-C connection. In addition to the above, it actually sounds less tinny than my other metronome, is more stable (i.e. less likely to be knocked over) and has a better display. I'm very happy with it and would buy it again without hesitation.

Good product idea/design, poor engineering lets it down
Overall design is great, dialing tempo up/down is fast, vocal count option is a plus. A big minus though, is that the "timer/tap" function did not work - when you tap the button you get a random tempo anything between 20 and 208 and randomly in either direction - rendering this feature completely useless. I would recommend the manufacturer to fix this issue and then provide a free replacement to all customers who bought one.
