Best choice ever!
This lift chair is a godsend! I was thinking about getting a walk in tub and saved $$$ by getting this chair. It is easy to use and has helped so much with my bathing issues. I don't like showers and found getting in and out of the tub an issue, so this lift chair has been well worth the price. Highly recommend.

Great!
Because of problems with my hip and knee joints, I haven't been able to get in and out of the tub for over 4 years. This chair has made it possible for me to take a tub bath again! I've never really enjoyed showers, so I'm really, really happy with this chair! It stays put, and works great. A bonus is that the back of it leans back so you can lie back and soak. The seat is a little "rocky," but doesn't cause any problems. The side flaps aren't useful because my tub is extra wide. Also, I recently fell and couldn't get up. My son brought the chair into my room, and I was able to get back on my feet. What a blessing it has turned out to be! BTW, my daughter warned me that this chair was frequently returned, but I'm guessing that is due to it not fitting in some tubs. My tub is a little over 5 ft, and the chair fits well enough that I can have a comfortable and enjoyable bath.

Wow! Thank you! I am the caretaker to my 94 yr old Mom. This had made her baths so much easier for me and so enjoyable for her. Game changer! Buy it.

It works well, but not lowering enough.

More solid that the more expensive Drive Medical unit.
I was hesitant at first to purchase this unit as it was so much cheaper price-wise that I thought it couldn't be all that good. I was wrong. It's much sturdier than the Drive units I have purchased in the past. I use the bath lift every time I get in the tub. The last Drive unit lasted less than a year. It quit in the down position (completely recharged) and I had to call the fire department at 1 AM (night owl) to get me up and out of the tub. How embarrassing. The poor young fireman is probably scarred for life, having to pick up a fat, naked, old woman out of the tub. Anywhere, the new unit is working fine. It has a metal lift pole versus the Drive plastic one and I just feel more secure with it. It also lowers into the water farther than the Drive unit. I have an 18-inch deep tub and I can feel the difference in depth. I do wish it had the built-in hook for the hand control that the Drive unit has. They sent a suction cup thing to hang it on, but it won't work with my bathroom layout.

It just paid for itself!
We bought this almost exactly exactly a year ago because we knew it was not going to be a matter of “if” I fell but just a matter of “when.” We didn’t get it for use in the bathtub, just from the floor. It paid for itself today! Because my right hand and arm are weak we had to use several strategies to get me seated on it but then it was smooth sailing as it lifted me to a height I could stand up. Comfortable seat too and very sturdy. Light weight makes it easy to move and slide as needed.

PERFECT for my needs
I spent months searching for something that would work. I found this by accident. This is PERFECT. I am an elderly woman with severely damaged spine. It became more and more difficult to get out of the tub. It was becoming dangerous. I really can’t afford this but it is well worth the financial sacrifice. It is heavier than I anticipated. However, the only time it will get moved is to clean the tub. It is late. I have not yet tried it with water. I placed it in the tub and tried it. It is PERFECT for my needs. I am 5'2” and 120 pounds. There are others on the market that are three or more times the price. I don’t know how they compare. I highly recommend this lift. It is well worth the price even if it takes a financial sacrifice.

very disjointed that the power supply was not Australian pin conflagration. The shipping address clearly states Australia. I had to buy and international adapter. Also I can not see any markings to sate it complies with Australian electrical Standards . Could you please advise. Regards Danny Papa
