Sharp edges and lightweight
There really isn't much to this for the price. The ends have not been shaped (just cut off straight) and with only 7 (thickish) sticks it feels lightweight and narrow in the hand. I sent it back and found a much better one elsewhere for the same price.

Will damage your drum ; adds no value
I've made myself one of these before (bamboo skewers, clips, black tape, wood file are all that's needed), it was nice but was a bit of work filing and smoothing the edges. I thought buying this would save me trouble this time around - that is where the value-add should be ; but no work has been done to make this a worthwhile purchase. The sticks are merely cut, and not very well at that - used as-is, it will damage your bodhran after a few plays. Zero value to buying this.
