I’ve had my ring on for 11 years.. after having a child I did gain enough weight to where my Ring just wouldn’t come off no matter what hacks I did! This simple yet effective cutter really DOES work!!! It took maybe 6 spins and it popped the wring band. The only thing is you do need someone to help you twist the knob for you. Other than that this thing is amazing to just have around because you never know when a ring just won’t come off anymore lol. Also if you still like the ring you can just get it resized after.. it’s a win win!

Let’s just say that over 25 years of marriage, my finger size is definitely not what it was when I first slipped that wedding band on. I could not get the ring off using soap, oil, cold water, etc. I didn’t want to cut, but I had no choice. Either get the ring resized or endure the pain of it constricting the blood flow to my finger. This little innocuous, primitive looking device that looks more like an egg beater than something that could cut through gold, did the trick fast and easy. Make sure you have someone to turn the handle since it’s a little awkward to try to do it yourself. In no more than 3 minutes, the ring was cut straight through. A few pulls from a needle nose pliers, and my finger was free. Not sure what I will use thing for now, but I have it just in case I need to rescue any other expanding digits in the near future. Recommended.
