LC Mini Slicer

I was thrilled with it at first although the quality of materials used are not great. Especially when you pay that much for the slicer. Since then the quality of slices got alot worse. I marked the wheel and at first i had consistent slices. I now turn the wheel exactly same amount and get different thicknesses and one end of blade does not touch the table of slicer so it doesn’t cut all the way down. I wrote to Lucy Clay but dis not get a response.Save your money. Very expensive for what you get.

This arrived quickly and all you have to do is put on the blade arch. My blade met at the base evenly but it did rub/scrape one side of the arch on the way down. It took some adjusting but in the end I got it to an acceptable state I just have to gently apply slight pressure backwards when slicing to avoid it completely. It makes super thin super consistent slices and is extremely easy to use. For people that just need to slice canes and aren't worried about cutting at an angle or cutting canes bigger than about 2.25 inches a side (for square), this is all you'll need and I have no need to ever pursue the full size slicer.I'm excited to do more polymer clay veneers now.

The assembly is straight forward. But the bottom didn’t fit properly on both sides. So, I was able to jam it together. But, I am not 100% happy. It cuts slightly crooked.

I love this clay cutter! The instillation instructions are good, I did have to adjust all the nuts and bolts to get it installed properly , had to push the sides where the blade comes down until it was at the right Height for the blade to be level with the cutting board but got it to work properly and it works great!. I wish they would have put lines on the board, you do have to figure out how many turns to turn the knob to get the same size cut ,all my cut pieces are the same and I feel its worth buying rather than trying to guess by hand where to cut your clay.
