I was skeptical at first, due to the price, but quickly realized that this is one of the few, truly non-plastic reusable bag options out there. All of the other (much cheaper) bags label themselves as silicone but when you read the description, they are actually made with PEVA, a less obvious form of plastic. My number one goal is to reduce the amount of plastic in our household so for me, the price is absolutely worth it to get 100% silicone. We’ve been using this for my daughter’s daily snack at school and are absolutely thrilled so far. It is easy to clean, holds more food than I expected, and she is able to open it herself (5.5 years old).
