We like to sleep with the windows open but with trains in our town, and people who let their dogs bark all night it makes it hard. But this little device is amazing! The small footprint it takes up such little space, you can plug it into USB or electrical outlet, and it has all sorts of sound options (although the rain sound is so effective my husband made numerous bathroom trips, ha!). The volume has a series of levels and it drowns out trains and dogs! For the price, it is worth it! It is light and functional & would be easy to pack for travel even! The only downside I can think some would find is this… if you have a power outage or glitch in the night, it shuts off and does not come back on. It doesn’t bother me, I’m already asleep at that point… but this could bother some people. So yes, there is no back up battery option. Highly recommend this device!

I bought this for my Great Danes to keep them calm and to mask noise. I leave it on 24/7. I think they sleep better. It works as described with many options. I have it on Rain. Can't speak to battery life, I keep it plugged in. It's tiny - fits in the palm of my hand.

Good sound quality. Has white noise only- no green noise but does have multiple other choices. You have to go through all of the options but once you choose one, it will be set until you change it.

I absolutely love this sounds machine. There are plenty of different sounds to select from, and you can control the volume as well. It is easy to operate.

It produces a good variety of white (sound of waves breaking, which I was looking for) noise for my tinnitus and other pleasant sounds. There are more expensive sound generators but this Sleepbox one was very good-priced, sounds good to me and is easy to operate. Helps me sleep better and reminds me of being by the ocean...

It's small, cheap, and better for traveling than for home. Meh.

I have had the same Brookstone sound machine for over 22 years and this little thing is perfect. Took it internally on a trip. Great sound options, sound quality, & sound volume.

Good…but the price can be a bit lower

Compact with lots of various sounds to relax or sleep to. Charge cord is very short and box must be plugged in to run so that had to be overcome to place near the bed

Works well

Small, so doesn’t take up much room on my side table. A great variety of sounds, so I can now sleep at night. I would have given it five stars if I could set it for more than 4 hours.
