AKASO Brave 7 Waterproof Case for AKASO Brave 7 Action Camera

Really nice camera when you don't want to break the bank. Used on 20 dives around Socorro Islands and got fantastic results filming manta rays and sharks. Easy to use and make make adjustments underwater. Compact size was perfect and I just stuffed it in the zipper of my wetsuit when getting out of the water.

Obviously fits my Brave 7 like a glove. Definitely shuts and seals very tight. Latch takes a lot more force to open and close than the normal open housings. Buttons and touch screen all worked perfectly. I haven't used it for scuba yet but I snorkeled for like an hour with it with no issues. No degradation of image quality or anything either. I had a different camera that had hazing and aberrations when you put it in the waterproof housing, but no problems here. Would recommend.

I purchased this item for my upcoming sea vacation. Although I haven't used it yet, I'm optimistic that it will perform well since I'm considering it for diving. I anticipate it will protect my action camera underwater. The camera fits snugly, and I can operate it effortlessly; the material seems to be of high quality, and the sealing pressure is satisfactory. I will update you once I have tested it.

Performs as expected. The sound clicks if you have record volume set too high but thats not an issue for me since I bought primarily to use underwater. Customer service is great. My plastic cage broke and they sent me a new one for free. No questions asked. It's also great for stills. It's so inexpensive that I don't sweat turning my back on it occasionally like when I'm in the water and I leave it on shore. The built in stabilization works real good. Surprised me.

We purchased this for a snorkeling trip to the Bahamas. Easy to use and works great. Never fogged up. I would familiarize yourself wth your camera settings before using this. You will have limited functionality in the buttons. The case did not effect the sound. We will had underwater sound while snorkeling.

I used this case recently on my trip to Mexico well snorkeling. It worked well and kept the water out of the device. Even though I know the Akaso brave 7 is waterproof to a extent, I didn't feel like cleaning saltwater out of it. It had a very nice tight hinge and felt secure.

Does the job. I purchased this for my Brave 7 camera, for added water proofness. So far, no leakage issues. It works well for snorkeling but limits some of the functions on the touch screen of the camera. I wouldn't use it for shallow snorkeling as the camera by itself is still waterproof and you have access to all the functions. This case is great if you plan on snorkeling the deep stuff or just being submerged for extended periods.

Bereits das zweite Gehäuse. Das erste ging nach Tauchgang 25 am Verschluss zu Bruch. War wohl etwas zu viel Spannung von Anfang an drauf. Mit einem guten Haargummi aber während des Urlaubs noch verschlossen, die Dichtungen waren top. Kostenloser Ersatz aber nach Rekla! Super Kontakt, freundlich und entgegenkommend. Die Kamera war ständig geschützt, kein Eindringen von Wasser auch auf 30m, kein Anlaufen, somit sehr gute Bilder. Hier kommt es nicht aufs Gehäuse an, eher dann auf die Farbkorrektur. Das liegt nie am Gehäuse. 😂

Le boîtier en lui-même est très bien, mais la caméra a fonctionné 1 semaine à peine... j'ai donc dû tout renvoyer et finir mes 2 semaines de vacances en Polynésie Française sans caméra... Très mauvaise expérience et je suis content d'être passé par Amazon car les discussions avec le SAV de la marque sont stériles. Amazon est très réactif en revanche.

Usata fino a 35 mt senza problemi. Aggiornamento: Dopo due mesi, e quasi un trentina di immersioni, posso confermare che la tenuta è ottima. Posso segnalare che l'anello, che tiene il gancio della chiusura, tende a sfilarsi o piegarsi. Bisogna stare un pò attenti nella chiusura, per non rovinarlo. Non so se è così per tutti o difetto della mia. Altra cosa che ho segnalato, sarebbe utile la possibilità di agganciare/sganciare con facilità un filtro esterno (rosso), per compensare l mancanza del colore durane le immersioni.

Bit fiddly to get the camera in but seems pretty sealed when in, only tried it once and didn't go much below 10m so didn't really test it.
