Review ------ A WEDNESDAY is one of the most wonderful movies i have ever seen. debutant director neeraj pandey has done a wonderful work. he shows how a simple story if presented in the right way can make a movie so much enjoyable. the movie is simply not about terrorism or counter terrorism. it is not about the mumbai train blasts in 2005. it is not like the previous movies like MUMBAI MERI JAAN or other recent films on the wrath of extremism. it's about how the violence of extremism can affect the self-worth of a middleclass man, how a middle class man suffer from all these and what are the things that goes on in his mind. The most watchable thing in the movie is the ongoing dialogue between the commisioner played by ANUPAM KHER and the masterblaster common man played by NASSERUDDIN SHAH. JIMMY SHERGIL also plays a cop's role who is an encounter spet. it is all about pointing out the loop holes in our system which can be exploited very easily by the extreemists and the sufferer is the common man. you can't know who is the villain in the movie and what is going to happen till the end. just enjoy how a common man gives a chase to the top cops of our city. it will return the full value of your time and money, just watch it. --ciao.com
