How would this be for use in a rubbermaid plastic outdoor shed? would installation destroy the side walls?

Installation is one of two ways: Glue on via gorilla glue which I prefer and have good success with or Via screws in the holes provided which would leave an installation hole in the sidewall of the shed. Gorilla glue will attach and hold on any surface when you follow instructions

Will this organizer hold baseball bats?

Yes! This can hold all types of regular sized - mini baseball bats. BBCOR, Big Barrel, Fungo, Wood, or Youth bats are all verified to work on The Berry Ave Organizer!Thank you for your question Linda!

How much weight does it carry?

Box say holds 35 lbs. Item description lists 50 lbs. Either way...it's enough. Wouldn't want to rake leaves with a 35 lb rake or shovel dirt with a 50 lb shovel anyway.
