NIV Journalling Bible Illustrated by Hannah Dunnett (new edition) (New International Version)

I cant begin to say how beautiful this bible is. The illustrations are beautiful of course. The margins are large enough for notes, the paper is thin but highlighters don't bleed through and it's beautifully made ♥️

Very happy with this. I had originally opted for the ‘illuminated’ version of this same NIV publication but when it arrived I wasn’t impressed. This version is far and away the better one to have on the shelf. The illustrations are colourful and charming. The quality of the book is great (this one anyway, the first one that arrived was grubby and had been thumbed through a LOT, so that was disappointing at first). The print size is OK, not spectacular at 9pt but with a reading lamp and one’s glasses, certainly a lot better than some more pocketable. On transportation, this isn’t a backpack bible, it is a coffee table version and an attractive one at that.

This is a lovely bible. Quality is excellent with colourful diagrams. The paper quality is very good, the type is readable for most people. Wide margins to enable the reader to make pencil notes. Would make a lovely gift, I bought for myself to use at Church and at home.

The pages are thin, but that is normal for a bible. Has good margins for notation and looks cheery. Ribbon bookmarks x 2 and a concise indexing system. Would make a lovely gift.

I love this Bible. I've been looking for a Bible for quite sometime and this one has exceeded all my expectations. It has such beautiful illustrations. The quality is really good. Spending time with God while reading from this Bible has been an absolute pleasure 🥰

Just the stock illustrations in this Bible make me happy! They are beautiful, uplifting, and inspire me to keep trying with my own journaling attempts. I use an old envelope between the pages when adding my own drawings because the pages are thin. I find that colored pencils work better because they don't bleed through. Gels pens bleed through at times based on the color used and if I'm outlining or filling in a space. Regardless of the journaling process, the Bible is worth the cost!

The Bible text clarity and illustrations look very inviting - bought it as a gift for a youth and I am sure she will find the space around the margins useful during her Bible study. The Binding and quality of paper is good as well. Only flaw was in the packing - there was no protective box or even a wrapping paper. It was delivered in a simple brown paper bag with no padding as well.
