When buying covers, you downsize one size from the actual pillow size?!

Basically yes. I always say for a fuller pillow by the pillow insert one size bigger than the pillow cover. That is, if 18 x18 inch pillow cover, I put a 20 X 20 inch pillow insert inside of it.

Could you send me a sample of the burgundy fabric?

No samples, the fabrics is blended cotton, polyester, and linen

Is this for outdoor use? It says in the description that it is but I want to be sure it won’t fade.

I am using mine indoors so I cannot say how it would hold up outdoors. It is nice material but I'm not sure that I would use it outdoors unless I was using it in a screened-in or covered porch.
