Basic Instinct 2 (Unrated)

Basic Instinct 2 is an intriguing movie that has more depth if you are able to understand the story on some level and how it portrays society. It exposes psychiatry as the fake science that it really is and a strong female character who is guided by her instincts is the chief justice. Sharon Stone does a great job with this character. I don't know anyone else who could have been so believable in this role. This movie didn't go so well in terms of making money in the box office. That just highlights how I see this movie - remember who prints the money you pay your movie tickets with. Psychiatry is sometimes used as a weapon against citizens making too much noise about things embarrassing others. I would like to leave you with a thought - There are many levels and aspects of truth and good instincts always trump second hand knowledge.

Pure camp and fun. This movie has shockingly unintended hilarity sprinkled throughout the dialogue, plot and action. It has beautiful locations, art direction, masterful use of a brilliant cinematographer. Sharon Stone's intensity is mesmerizing throughout the film. She's captivating as the vilan and disturbingly believable as her character masterfully puppets those in her path through psychological manipulations. Then she tosses them away like stained/worn rag dolls. Is she there? Does she care? It's rediculous B movie fun with great production value. And the makeup/hair... I vassilate between admiration of craft and laughter.

Basic instinct 2 isn't as good as the original, but it is pretty good. I am kind of disgusted with myself, for heeding the critics back in 2006. At the time, I was really looking forward to this movie, and then dismissed watching it because of the bashing it took. When will I ever learn? Because I am such a big fan of the original, and because of some positive reviews here, I relented to watch it regardless of quality. The movie is much better than I expected. It has a good story, cinematography, acting, etc. I don't understand people who say it has no plot. It's almost as if we're not watching the same movie. This is Catherine Tramell playing her game for her own ends, much the same as in the first version. If you're a fan of the original at all, or just like a good murder mystery, you might enjoy this movie. Like the original, there is strong sexual content and language, so if that offends you steer clear.

IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY THIS ONE IS BETTER THEN THE FIRST ONE AND IF SHE IS STILL AS BEAUTIFUL OR IF AT ALL POSSIBLE EVEN MORE BEUTIFUL THEN SHE COULD DO A FIRST ONE; OR MAYBE THEY SHOULD OR COULD OR MIGHT REBOOT THE FRANCHISE AND MAKE IT EVEN BETTER IF POSSIBLE.... THEY COULD DO A NETFLIX FLIX SPIN OFF TV SERIES WHERE THE DUDES KEEP THEIR DAMN CLOSE ONE AND SOME OR ALL OF THE FEMALES ARE COPS AND HERO VIGILANTIES AND THEIR FAVORIT PAST TIMES ARE TOURCHING AND SLOWLY KILLING AND "MURDERING RAPITS" AND OTHER INSTERESTING BAD CHARECTERS MAYBE!

Basic Instinct 2 gave a crucial look at the mind of an accomplished woman who had a lot of mind problems. I would like to see how it all began. Catherine seemed to hate men, and I suppose that she had a horrid relationship with her father and maybe even both parents. She liked to control men who were captured by her beauty. Why did she need such control;was it because she had no control as a child? She was highly damaged.

Having owned the previous Blu-Ray release, this edition is a welcome upgrade. This copy includes both the Rated and Unrated cuts of the film. Audio and video are good, not reference quality, but a vast improvement over the old copy

Even though I really am intrigued by the FIRST Basic Instinct with Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas. Basic Instinct #2 is so ridiculous that any adult would only laugh at this! The movie is based on a plot to where this woman is too old for one and allows people to drown and a criminal psychiatrist lets her drive him to an insane asylum with stupid prank mind games she plays on him. Movie one shows her to be an intellect, but movie number 2 makes her out to be some sinister criminal.

Product is brand new or at least wrapped in "new" plastic. Looks legit. This was a gift cannot comment anymore than that

Un excellent film dans la même dynamique que l'opus 1, malgré un changement d'acteur principal. Une confrontation entre 2 être poussant au delà leurs limites dans l'amour et la manipulation.

An interesting sequel to the original film. The plot is even more convoluted than the original. Sharon Stone is her alluring self and we get somewhat longer glimpses of her assets. A high level of eroticism but actually not really explicit. Good to watch a second time to unravel the plot..

Verursachen ein mittleres Erdbeben. Ein verrückt verzücktes " Paar ". Wieder ein betörender Rausch der Sinne, brutal und leidenschaftlich obszön. Astrein und irre gespielt. Und ich lüge nieee!
