Original TS101 Upgraded from TS100 Type C PD DC Programmable 50-400℃ Temperature Adjustable Pocket-size Portable Soldering Iron for Field Repair (NO POWER SUPPLY)

This iron is great! Heats up super fast, easy to control and solder with. The stand with sponge and solder tube are useful, I'll probably use the XT60 battery adapter fairly soon, but nobody ever uses the ESD strap. The power supply is perfectly adequate, I wish the wire from the supply to the iron was more flexible (silicon instead of pvc insulation) but it works perfectly well. I found myself unplugging the iron after soldering with it, leaning it on the stand, setting up the next joint to solder, and replugging it in - it heats up that fast! Within 10 minutes of using the iron my immediate thought was "Why did I wait to buy this?!?"

I can confirm this is a genuine TS100. I highly recommend this kit as well. Comes with a AC plug for the home as well as a XT60 adapter cable for use with a Lipo Battery. I purchased this to do repairs on my drones in the field so that a simple busted solder joint doesn’t ruin my day :) However, I’ve been using this more and more at home as well. It heats up incredibly fast in my opinion. Way faster then my work bench iron so it’s great for those quick jobs at the kitchen table :P The tip is also very fine which is perfect for soldering to small pcb pads. Highly recommended! 0 problems so far.

Great little iron, and way smaller then I thought once I got it. The custom firmware is a must if you want all the features this iron can do. I went ahead and purchased some extra tips because I’m just not a fan of the B2 tip that shipped with mine. Everything about this soldiering device is top notch. Easy to use, control the temperature, and pin point tips. I was in the market for a new one due to the current brand X being poorly built. I am 100% happy with this UY Chan TS101 soldiering iron.

I bought this to work on my r/c boats & their batteries. I watched a review on Youtube & had to have one. It works better than expected, it heats up fast & I was able to quickly solder the connection on my 8000mah battery with a 10 gauge wire connection. I'm left handed so the fact that I could switch the led readout for left hand use is pretty awesome in itself. I also like that it can be powered by a battery and the temperature goes up to almost 800 degrees fahrenheit.

Got this to be part of a travel repair kit. Smaller in size that I thought (not a bad thing) and it powers up via the DC and USB C. Heats up far faster than I expected and seems to hold the temperature pretty well. So far only used it to repair an XLR cable, but it worked great to remove the old solder and apply new. Will have to see how it holds up over time, but so far I like it!
