My sheltie/aussie mix rescue is undergoing heartworm treatment and has thoroughly enjoyed this toy. I have had to find ways to engage her with limited exercise based on the risk during treatment. She sniffed it initially then realized the strategy with using her paws to swing the windmill around. I have used cooked ground turkey and kibble. What fun engagement! Once in a while, the momentum does knock the toy over but I supervise. The toy has held up and I just rinse the food bins out to keep it clean.Thank you Trixie for the darling toy and Amazon for being such an amazing distributor.

The TRIXIE Windmill Strategy Game is an excellent beginner-level puzzle that really keeps my dog entertained and mentally stimulated. It’s easy enough for beginners, but still challenges my pup to think and work for the treats. I love how it encourages interactive play and helps with enrichment—perfect for rainy days or when I need to keep my dog busy.The design is sturdy and easy to clean, and the treat compartments are just the right size. It’s been a fun addition to our toy collection and definitely helps reduce boredom and destructive behavior. Highly recommend for any dog owner looking to add some brain games into their dog’s routine!

It is really tricky trying to fill all of these cylinders because the treats keep falling out. And I had to place a brick on the base so it would not fall over

This is a great slow feeder, only complaint about it though is that the three holes on each windmill blade are way too big, and disperses my 6 month old Aussie's food way too quickly. The first time we used it, she managed to get the majority of her kibble out with one giant spin that shot a bunch of kibble all over the room lol.The solution I found was to cover two of the three holes on each with some duct tape. Now each has only one hole, and takes her about 10 minutes or so of standing up and spinning the toy downward with her paws in order to get her entire meal out.With that easily fixable gripe aside, this is a fine and worthy addition to my growing box of slow feeders and puzzle feeders that I use to make her work for her meals. I'm looking forward to purchasing more toys like this one from this company.

Our dog loves his windmill. It’s easily one of his favorite toys. All you have to do is put treats in the windmill fans and your dog has to spin the windmill with their paws or nose to free the treat. It keeps our dog busy for easily 10 minutes sometimes. It gets his brain working, which I love. It’s also nice because it gives him something to do if I need to just relax for a minute, or when he’s just passing by.It’s super easy to use. You just unwind the tops of the windmills to put the treats in.

Works like it should, easy to assemble, the treats do just fall out of the bottom 2 tubes so there's that. I liked that it came with 2 lids with different sized holes. However neither of my dogs will touch it so I'm glad i got it during Amazon days.

Honestly, this toy sucks lol. It's so cheap and flimsy. It always falls apart, whether it's the green legs that detach from the bottom plate, or the metal screw that comes off the back after you spin the windmill too many times. My dog also didn't care for it when I first introduced it to her. I think she didn't really understand the concept of it so I had to kind of guide her on how it works. I have a few other treat toys for her that she liked much better so I rarely ever used this one. I've had this toy for a few years now but finally just chucked it in the trash today. But it's literal trash so, don't buy it. I don't recommend it at all.

Product arrived broken (cracked base) and obviously was a return from a previous order as some of the pieces were in a loosely tied plastic bag, and others were not. Quite disappointed as it’s advertised on their social media as a feeding toy for bunnies, but the holes are so large that all of the pellets immediately fall out… so definitely not for bunnies in my opinion.

Mein kleiner Prinz ist ein Kostverächter und spielt mit seinem Futter, Oft möchte er auch das ich ihm sein Futter zuwerfe oder verstecke etc.) Das ist auf Dauer recht müßig und es musste was anderes her. Ein Futterball vor sich herrollen hat ihn sehr schnell gelangweilt, genau wie rotierende Scheibe die als "Intelligenzspielzeug "deklariert werden. Nun habe ich die Mühle entdeckt, war sehr skeptisch und bin jetzt begeistert!Das Spielzeug ist fix zusammengebaut und einsatzbereit. Auch ich habe festgestellt, dass es nicht sehr standfest ist, obwohl mein Bolonka nur 4,5 Kilo wiegt, kippt es. Ich habe es mit einem schweren Türstopper fixiert und das klappt wunderbar. Seht selbst wieviel Spaß es ihm macht. Man sieht deutlich, wie er während der Beschäftigung lernt wie er es am handhaben muss, sodass etwas dabei heraus kommt...
