This is the only brand of gum my teenage daughter can chew while wearing braces. Yes, they say not to chew gum, not because it can break brackets, but because it gets stuck in them. She has tried Excel gum and it gets stuck in her brackets, but Dentyne doesn't. She also loves the flavour of this cinnamon gum as opposed to Excel and it's softer to bite into than the other brands.
