Pyrex is a dependable baking dish. The perfect size for many of my recipes.

Perfect size! Very solid glass so it seems that it will be very durable. So far everything has been cooking or baking evenly. The thickness of this dish is perfect. It arrived in great condition!

I sometimes purchase frozen dishes to warm in a conventional oven. Being in the health field and having studied the chemicals indirectly infused into patients we use to keep our IVs flexible that can be detected after hospitalization still in the tissues - I don't trust the food processors trays and wraps as being "safe for human use". Anytime you heat something that isn't cast iron or ceramic coating, you are at risk of out-gassing those plasticizers. With the correlation between increased diagnosis of diseases of aging and the increased marketplace of plasticizers, I'd rather warm a family size frozen lasagna in a glass oven acceptable pan than in aluminum or that horrid slick paper container they sometimes use. We know about Bisphenol A or BPA, and while we haven't found every product in the plasticizer formulary as causative for Alzheimers Senility, or worse - a weak carcinogen - I don't want to take unnecessary chances. This Pyrex is oven proof and microwave proof. If I can get away from things good for industry that aren't great for physiology, at a decent price point - I will and DO!

Product description is incorrect at the time of this review. The description clearly states “with lid”, but the dish does NOT come with a lid. As for quality, it feels like a heavy, well made Pyrex casserole dish, and should last a long time. I would give 5 stars if it weren’t for the description misleading buyers, and the inclusion of a lid did factor in to my decision to purchase this dish over others. Debating on whether to return or just accept it for what it is.

The pyrex arrived in perfect condition, but was missing the lid. So becareful.

Great size for the oven in our RV.

I have used Pyrex products forever. Great quality at a good price. After 20 years, the edge of mine chipped. It didn't have a sharp edge, and I could have continued using it. However, I replaced it.

Nice dish, works great in oven and microwave, but did not come with a lid!

The pyrex dish was delivered promptly. It's sturdy and exactly what I need for baking fudge brownies and other recipes. It's easy to clean - I don't own a dishwasher - and I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of it.
