Rydonair Short Antenna for Dodge Ram 1500 2500 3500 & Ford F150 F250 F350

This antenna is just small in size but BIG on reception. This antenna works better than my stock antenna at about 1/3 the size. I had actually ordered 2 different sizes in case this smaller one would not work very. I've tried others in the past with not-so-great results. This antenna is perfect in size, easy to install, and I can't say enough how great it brings in the signals (and stylish). I will be returning the other slightly larger antenna since I didn't need it or open it.

When I bought my 2017 RAM a few weeks ago, I couldn't believe that they still have an old-school metal antenna mast on the fender. Most new cars have them built in to the GPS until on top of the roof. Had to get rid of it. This little antenna is great....almost 5 stars, but I'll need to drop one star for this reason: I live about 30 miles outside of Columbus, Ohio, and I did notice a little loss of Radio signal. With the old antenna, I would get all of the HD radio stations just fine, but they did flicker in and out from time to time. With this antenna, it's seems to be "slightly" worse...they go in and out a little bit more often from HD to regular signal. Not a huge deal for me since I usually listen to SIRIUS-XM or Pandora from Bluetooth. If you live within 20 or so miles from a big city, I don't see it being a problem. Super easy to install---took maybe 2 minutes. You'll probably need a wrench to get the old antenna off, but I just hand tightened the new one---it's not going anywhere, and I am confident that it will fine in the car wash without removing it.

I love my 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman, but I've always hated the stupid 35ft. long antenna. Every time I'd go to the car wash, they'd take it off. It just looked dumb. So I got a wild hair up the caboose and searched amazon for "tactical truck antenna" and found this gem. The reviews seemed legit so I bought it. Arrived in one day. First star earned. Good packaging and easy instructions. Second star earned. The size is great though I wouldn't mind it being a tad bit shorter. Then I tested AM and FM - no signal loss. Remaining stars earned. Now that it's on there, I'm going to use some red locktite to ensure it stays on because I'm sure the thieves in Reno would love it.

Looks great but has Terrible radio signal. Luckily we use Bluetooth so it’s more aesthetic now than practical use.

Had to get rid of that ugly whip style 30 inch antenna. My wife surprised me with this one. It was simple to install, just match the brass post. To the one that is in the antenna being replaced. I dont live in a major metropolitan area. I work in a nearly rural area. Still have pretty darn good reception. Obviously not a 30 inch antenna. So there's a few dead zones but very few. DO NOT drive through a car wash with th ed antenna attached. It will get bent and you'll be mad. I would have added a drop of lock tight to the brass post. Because of the need to remove the item, I chose not to.

It’s very nice aesthetic wise. Didn’t notice much with signal as some reviews complained. My radio works fine. Pretty sturdy.

Looks great, easy install. FM reception fine, but AM is, as expected, less than optimal. If you depend on AM, this length might not be for you.
